Dr. E. Smith graduated from Optometry School in Northern Ireland and completed a PhD at the University of Waterloo investigating diabetic eye disease before moving to Windsor.
Dr Smith is a recipient of the W.B. Pearson medal for creativity in research and has published numerous papers. His interests include diabetic eye disease, glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration, LASIK, and contact lenses.
Dr. Z. Smith received two scholarships from the University of Waterloo and was on the Dean’s Honour list all 4 years, and received several awards including two Advanced Medical Optics awards.
Her interests include contact lenses, refractive eye surgery and pediatric eye examinations. She interned with local ophthalmologists and developed a great interest in retinal disease and ocular health.
